Easy Red Velvet Waffles

Cookmas Ep. 3 | Easy Red Velvet Waffles

Ingredients:
1 Package of Red Velvet Cake Mix
4 large eggs
2 cups of milk
1/2 cup of All-purpose flour
White Chocolate Chips or Chocolate Chips (to garnish the top with).

Icing:
1 tbsp. of Butter (softened)
1/8 tsp. of Pure Vanilla Extract
Evaporated Milk (Pour it as you go along. Start out with 1/4 cup)
2 1/2 cups of Powder Sugar (add more powder sugar if it appears too watery). You want the consistency of the icing to where you could drizzle it on the waffles.

Directions:
Pour 1 cup of waffle mix onto your griddle and spread it evenly across the griddle. If it does not fill to the edges with one cup, add a little more to evenly coat your grill.

Please watch the video instructions on my YouTube Channel. Chantell's Home Cooking.

*Note: You can use this same mix to make Red Velvet Pancakes with.*

Smoked Turkey and Cheese Biscuit

This is an easy and fast recipe, especially, if you're in a hurry to send the kids off to school.

Ingredients:
Smoked Turkey
Sliced American Cheese
Biscuits 10 servings

Biscuits:
2 cups of self-rising flour
4 tablespoons of  mayonnaise
1 cup of milk or buttermilk.

Directions: Mix all ingredients and drop by the spoon on a cookie sheet. You may use extra flour in the dough, while rolling it out to prevent it from sticking. Then roll our and cut the dough. Tip if you don't have a round shape dough cutter, substitute it with a 8 oz glass to cut out the circle shapes. This makes about 20 biscuits. Bake at 450 degrees until the biscuits are golden brown.

Slice the biscuits in half then break the sliced cheese in half, immediately, because you want the cheese to melt from the hot biscuit steam. Place a piece of cheese on the top of the biscuit. I used two pieces for mines. Warm the smoked turkey up, just for about 10 seconds in the microwave. For the bottom layer of the biscuit use your favorite jelly or jam. I used Peach Preserve for my biscuit, because I like Peach Preserve. Serve with juice, milk or water.

**You could make these biscuits from scratch or buy your favorite brand of biscuits from the store.**
